We are a Family Run Business who are looking for a new addition to our team to provide top quality Care and Education to Early Years Babies and Young Children.

Due to increasing demand for Childcare, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our team.

Job Type: Early Years Practitioner
Salary: Competitive rates for qualification and experience

Schedule: 30-38 per week, Monday to Friday
Shifts: 8am-6pm / 8am-2pm / 12-6pm
Contract: Permanent, Full time, Part Time
Start Date: As soon as available or when notice has been worked

This post involves working with children and therefore if successful you will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records check at an enhanced level which we will arrange and fund.

Visits to the nursery are warmly welcomed and made by appointment to suit the candidate's availability.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a committed, adaptable and caring Early Years professional, passionate about delivering high quality support and providing an inspirational approach to learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Can lead by example and be a positive role model to our children
  • Can demonstrate the creativity, resilience and interpersonal skills to complement our highly effective team
  • Is able to implement nursery safeguarding policies and practices.
  • Is an effective team player and willing to be fully involved in the life of the Nursery.
  • Has a full and relevant qualification linked to Early Years Education.
  • Has the required qualification passes in English and Maths or the equivalent set out in the EYFS
  • A current Paediatric First Aid Certification is also required to fulfil this role, which will be renewed every 3 years funded by the nursery.

Essential criteria:

  • You must be available to work during the full year, not term time only
  • You must have GCSE grade C/4 in English and Mathematics or the recognised equivalent
  • Your Early Years qualification MUST BE 'full and relevant' providing a license to practice the E.Y.F.S.
  • ADULT:CHILD ratio requirements Eg You must hold a full and relevant CACHE Level 3 Diploma Qualification in Childcare & Education (Early Years Educator) or the recognised equivalent
